I didn’t expect to find myself involved in the shenanigans that kicked off the SONA. I didn’t want that in fact. However, one does need to participate in these things if one wants to be a part of a larger community. Also, it’s good to see for yourself what actually occurs so you can make better choices and encourage a freer flow of information. Take the report that EFF had to be “contained”…now, maybe whoever reported this wasn’t observing but we saw ANC members inciting EFF. I actually saw one ANC woman and her cohort follow an EFF woman and then throw various items at her. So please tell me why EFF had to be contained and not ANC.
I was asked 2 questions by a reporter and they were as follows:
1. What do you think about the current state of affairs in South Africa?
2. What do you think about the current leadership in South Africa?
Basically, the state of affairs in South Africa is like the state of affairs regarding the SONA. You have red carpets rolled out and funds spent on expensive dresses and pearls (let them eat cake) and yet, the people who need real leaders are fighting, throwing buckets and other miscellaneous items at each other. For the same thing; Freedom. It’s a mess.
As for the leadership, look at the fruits that they bear for their country. South Africa is in the state that it’s in because of poor leadership skills and excellent fraudsters. Know them by their fruit.
I still think that there’s hope 🙂
