For most of us, our perception of a country is based on our personal experiences.

For a growing number of us, data affects the way we see the systems we live in. As with any feedback loop, our decisions in our daily lives give credence to an already established image of an economy, no matter how skew the image is.

Basically, we collectively create what we perceive South Africa to be.
