Cape Town’s community has flourished for centuries, radiating from a central point, the CBD.
The Company’s Garden, a dedicated city garden now, once fed the seeds of all of the communities that now collectively call themselves Cape Town. The people sowed the seeds and reaped the vegetables, whether they did them as slaves, indentured workers or land owners, the Company’s Garden gave everyone some kind of purpose.
These days, the Company’s Garden is known as a place for romantic strolls and occasional, well planned events. This impression is being built upon though. A new introduction, the Good Company Farmers Market is luring the communities back into the fold.
Every Saturday from 10am until 3pm.
